Veeam v11update failing with – Failed to get path to the update package<\/h3>\n

i just started the upgrade process like usually, the customer had version 11.0.1.1261 P20211123 so i downloaded the Cumulative Patch P20210525 from Veeam site.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But when we started the update process we got an error mesassage „Failed to get path to the update package<\/em>„<\/p>\n

I tried to reboot the VBR server, disable AV, re-download the update package, but nothing works. So customer told me, that VBR server is in domain and some GPOs are applied on VBR server, one of the GPO is – Turn off Windows automatic root certificates updates and also the VBR server has no access to internet.<\/p>\n

So when we enable the internet access to server and remove link of GPO policy, run gpupdate \/force and reboot the server you can install the update, because the certificates in trusted root folder had been updated and image was verified.\u00a0<\/p>\n
