VMware – Unable to connect to the mks login (username/password) incorrect
This error message is presented while you open console of virtual machine in vSphere Client or vSphere Web Client. My reason for this error message was incorrect DNS settings on ESX host.
So check these options:
- can you ping to your esx host and vcenter ? – for example ping esx1.domain.local
- do you have correct setup of DNS server for your ESX host ? – check ESX host configuration > DNS and Routing
- check your PTR records on DNS servers
