Dell Storage Manager Virtual Appliance – The provided manifest file is invalid
When deploying the latest version of Dell Storage Manager Virtual Appliance (DSMBuildVM-16.2.1.228) into a VMware vSphere 6.5 in my demolab in .ova
i got a error : The provided manifest file is invalid: Invalid OFV manifest entry. Workaround is download lates VMware OFV Tool and migrate the .ovf file to .ova.
C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware OVF Tool>ovftool.exe "c:\Temp\DSMBuildVM-16.2.1.228.ova" "c:\Temp\DSMBuildVM-16.2.1.228.ovf"
it is very simple. Copy the .ova file to your temp folder, open the cmd (admin mode) and run this command.
