Microsoft Failover Cluster – No disk suitable for cluster disk were found

We just rebuilded a Microsoft Failover Cluster and when we went to add disk back to the first node we could not see our disk. The error message was „No disk suitable for cluster disk were found“

After some searching at google, i found that the disk was still assigned to the previous cluster and is locked.

The solution is very simple, just run PowerShell as Administator and run the following command : „Clear-ClusterDiskReservation -Disk XX“ (disk number you get in disk maangement) before a I recommend set up disk as OFFLINE. At first we were afraid that we would lose the data on the disk, but Clear-ClusterDiskReservation was done without data loss.
