VMware ESXi 7.0 – The NTP not working – An error occurred during host configuration
Today i installed the VMware ESXi 7.0u2 to the DELL EMC R740, after successful installation a logged into the GUI of ESXi and i tried to setup the NTP, but when i clicked to enable NTP and config the NPT servers i got an error message „An error occurred during host configuration“. So i rebooted the host.
I used DELL customized image : VMware-VMvisor-Installer-7.0.0.update02-17867351.x86_64-DellEMC_Customized-A06.iso – with same .iso i installed about 10 servers without problem.
after reboot problem persist, i decided to add the host to vCenter and try to setup NTP from vcenter site – but i got same error message „n error occurred during host configuration“

My solution ?
workaround from VMware KB not working, so i reinstalled the host.
