VMware vCenter VAMI update fails with Error: „Network failure. Check the network settings and try again.“
this was the second time I faced this problem, that vcenter vami update failed with the message „Network Failure. Check the network settings and try again“ , but when i tried ping to broadcom website from the vcsa cli the ping was successfull. but when I tried to verify that vcenter had internet access, everything was fine and the wget https://dl.broadcom.com/<Download Token>/PROD/COMP/VCENTER/vmw/8d167796-34d5-4899-be0a-6daade4005a3/8.0.3.00400/manifest/manifest-latest.xml command passed
I would rather not comment on things that are happening at Broadcom, they made a change again and didn’t tell anyone anywhere, so the default URL setting for the VCSA update is no longer functional and you have to change it to https://dl.broadcom.com/TOKEN/PROD/COMP/VCENTER/vmw/8d167796-34d5-4899-be0a-6daade4005a3/8.0.3.00600/
