PRTG monitoring system – WMI Access is denied. 0x80070005
On backup server i created a new user so that we did not have to use the local admin account. The new user is member of Administrators (local group on server), but all sensors in PRTG failed with error WMI Access is denied. 0x80070005. I tried add the new local user to Remote Management group, but situation was same…
The soulution is run cmd as administrator and congfigure WMI (winrm quickconfig), after applying the fix, the PRTG shows sucessfull connection.
