Veeam v12 – Install CDP I/O filter – Operation is not allowed in the current state
i just tried install a Veeam CDP I/O filter on my lab VMware ESXi 6.7.0, but i got an error message „The operation is not allowed in the current state.„
The main problem was a DNS on the vcenter server. The Veeam backup server is not in domain, which means that DNS entry is missing. I just connected to the VCSA appliance and in /etc/host created a entry for veeam backup server.
After DNS entry creation, the CDP I/O filter was successfully deployed from VBR console.
